JOB DESCRIPTION

To provide independent assurance that an organization’s risk management, governance and
internal control processes are operating effectively.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in developing audit planning and detect key weakness areas;
• Monitor and enforce compliance with banking regulation and accounting standards;
• Assist in evaluating operational efficiencies and contribute to improve overall
structure and practices;
• Conduct operation and compliance audit at branches and business units;
• Check compliance with internal establish policies, procedures, and regulations;
• Assist the team in conducting spot check;
• Identify process weaknesses, inefficiencies, and operational issues;
• Document the findings/issues, draft the recommendations and discuss with Internal
Audit Manager;
• Preparing the audit working papers in accordance with standards and requirement;
• Perform the full audit cycle work which includes the risk management over the
bank’s operation to ensure the effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance
with all applicable law and regulations;
• Assist the Internal Audit Manager to prepare and present reports on audit findings;
• Follow up on the progress of implementation and recommendation;
• Able to travel to the provinces;
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting finance or Auditing;
• Minimum 1 year working experience in either internal or external audit;
• Strong analytical skills and having skeptical mind;
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, team player and good negotiation skills;
• Knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
• Fluency in English and Khmer (both speaking and writing);
• CAT, ACCA or other related professional certification is preferred.
