JOB DESCRIPTION

The job holder is responsible for acquiring business banking customers to the Bank and achieving the business banking sales target. S/he must have a good understanding of banking products and services in order to sell them to customers.

Report Line: Deputy CEO/Chief Business Officer

Location: Head Office

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement sales plans to grow Business Banking’s deposits and loans portfolio customer base and fee business for the Bank.
• Ensure that the business banking product offerings are continually aligned with the market offerings and cater to the needs and expectations of business banking clientele.
• Develop innovative customer acquisition and retention strategies and ensure high levels of customer service by creating an environment that fosters active selling and superior customer service.
• Implement risk management practices and minimize regulatory breaches.
• Develop and maintain key relationships with the external business partners.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through service and relationship building.
• Keep close eyes on and track competitor intelligence.
• Constitute ideas and suggestion for improvement and success.
• Lead, mentor and support a team of business lending.
• Conduct regular performance review, provide feedback and coaching for development.
• Perform other tasks as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in business lending, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of business loan products, credit risk assessments and financial analysis.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command in verbal and written English.
• Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
