JOB DESCRIPTION

BRIDGE Bank is looking for dynamic, positive, highly dedicated, and multi-tasking professionals with passion to deliver excellence and to join our team for the following positions.

Lead and manage the SME and Mortgage Team to meet all assigned sales and cross-selling targets. Initiate new programs, campaigns, and promotion to support retail banking performance. Build partnership with property developers, car dealers, and …etc.

Position                 : Team Lead, Mortgage/SME Lending

Reporting Line     : Head, Retail Banking

Location                : Head office

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with product development to initiate new programs, campaigns, and promotion to support Retail Banking performance
  • Build partnership with property developers, car dealers, and …etc.
  • Manage and work towards meeting the approved budget
  • Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the team
  • Monitor, review and analyze performance of the team and its members to ensure results are on track, and if not, recommend solutions/action plans to rectify the shortfall
  • Source, select and recruit high performing sales staff. Ensure that the headcount target is always maintained
  • Supervise SME and mortgage sales team to ensure action plans/ targets are met and meet activity standards
  • Foster team environment, high-performance culture, encourage best practice sharing and good sales ethics
  • Plan and schedule for its team members to set up roadshows/desk at developers’ sales office etc
  • Train, coach and mentor sales team to be future SME and Mortgage Team Leader
  • Retain performance and potential staff
  • Ensure smooth operation and running of the team
  • Monitor and track acceptance/approval, LO acceptance and disbursement/LO acceptance ratios at agreed benchmarks/acceptable levels and that accepted loans are converted into LO acceptance and drawdown
  • Monitor and implement controls to manage sandbagging, manipulation, loan cancellation, malpractices, non-compliance
  • Supervise mortgage team to achieve compliance and service target
  • Another task/project as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Academic Qualifications: Degree or professional qualifications in marketing, Sales Management, banking or finance
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years’ working experience in managing a sales team preferred
  • Demonstrate sales performance excellence
  • Services within financial institutions.
  • Ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills are essential.
  • Good communication skills and a strong team player.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
