BRIDGE Bank receives the “Gold” award from the General Department of Taxation

Phnom Penh: Bridge Bank, a leading Commercial Bank that offers full banking services to its customers, was given the “Gold” award for tax compliance by the General Department of Taxation. This certificate demonstrates the Bank’s high dedication to tax compliance.

Mr. Richard Liew, Bridge Bank’s Chief Executive Officer stated “Getting the Gold certificate from the General Department of Taxation is such an honor. This reflects a high standard with great commitment which the Bank has provided to maintain the transparency and dedication to sound fiscal stewardship in its duties to the Kingdom of Cambodia. About The Award:

Tax compliance certificates come in three different varieties. Gold is the number one. To obtain it, we must provide a number of necessary documents to demonstrate that we are in compliance with the basic tax standards. Silver is the second kind, while bronze is the third.

BRIDGE Bank formally announces its commercial banking license and the opening of two new branches.

Phnom Penh: On June 20, 2023, Bridge Bank officially unveils its commercial bank license, a number of new products, a sizable digital banking ecosystem, and its two new branches at Toul Kork, and Takhmau. The Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia’s H.E. Chea Chanto, Bridge Bank .PLC’s Chairman, Neak Oknha Sear Rithy (also Chairman of WorldBridge Group of Companies), and other eminent guests presided over the occasion.

Bridge Bank has invested heavily on new procedures, technology, and staff members. Bellsnord joins Bridge Bank’s digital transformation

Bridge Bank, the customer-centric Cambodian commercial bank, has engaged Bellsnord, a digital banking technology provider from Malaysia, to work on its digital transformation as it aims to become one of the key players in the Kingdom’s digital banking space.

The contract signing on April 7, 2023, was presided over by Gorman Siah, director at Bellsnord, and Richard Liew, the CEO of Bridge Bank, with senior executives from both parties in attendance.

“We will be working closely with Bridge Bank by providing them with cutting-edge DEMAIN internet and mobile banking solutions for both their retail and business banking pillars.

“The DEMAIN API gateway will also be part of the Bellsnord offering, enabling Bridge Bank Cambodia to reside on a world class banking API [application programming interface],” said Bellsnord director Gorman Siah.

Bridge Bank CEO Richard Liew said: “The digital transformation will cover three main areas in helping the bank launch its digital banking services – Bridge Mobile for retail banking customers; corporate mobile and internet banking for primarily business banking customers; and the API gateway for an open banking platform, in particular.

“This will allow the bank to be able to connect to our strategic target partners quickly and securely across both internal and external systems, such as services provider, regulator, bill payment aggregator, mobile top-up aggregator, and so forth,” he said.
