BRIDGE BANK PLC is looking for dynamic, positive, highly dedicated, and multi-tasking professionals with passion to deliver excellence and to join our team for the following positions.

Position                 :         Senior Officer Network Engineer

Reporting Line: Manager, Information Technology Infrastructure

Location               :         Head Office

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
• Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
• Working with vendors involved with network installation, upgrade and maintenance
• Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximise network efficiency and security
• Maximising network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
• Arranging scheduled upgrades
• Investigating faults root causes in the network
• Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
• Reporting network status to key stakeholders

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / information technology or any related field
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills to resolve complex business application issues and create new products and business applications.
• Relevant full-time degree in Information Technology/Engineering.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role with an overall understanding.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Network Security Management experience is a plus
• Honesty, reliability, and a commitment to strict confidentiality.
